Very good food and drink. It's hard to decide what to pick from the menu. Everything sounds good.

Absolutely amazing. After 6 months of wanting to go here I finally made the 4 hour drive for dinner!!! As a chef I always appreciate a great meal. My friend had the feature burger of the month which I think is so amazing. Cilantro and Chive are so involved in supporting their community that I hope people continue to support them. Hope to be back very soon! Well worth the road trip.

Food is very tasty!! Staff is friendly and helpful even when I did my best to be a difficult and annoying customer they rose to the occasion to provide great service. Was informed that the menu is changed seasonal as to keep there use of local ingredients high and prices low and competitive. There interior is very fresh and inviting. a bit of an industrial look at the ceiling with a blend of country coming from the tables. With a mod flair and great art adorning the walls.

Love the menu, the service, the local product and the design of the restaurant. Plus, fantastic patio!

Loved it. Minute we walked in we were treated wonderfully by everyone and quickly sat down. I love the quirky tables and charm of this place. Atmosphere is loud, but with that comes with the cheery vibe. Had the hot wing poutine, and the bacon double cheeseburger (garlic)c . Really neat presentation with the Caeser, and the burgers was hefty. Had the jalapeno corn soup to start and it was amazing. Can't say enough good things - give this place a try.

Really cool place. Good service, good food. The waitresses were all making sure they sanitized their hands every 5 ins or so. Appreciated right now.

Beautiful place on a nice street in a nice town. Menu is awesome for interesting locally sourced meats. Elk, bison, duck, beef, chicken. Great place to go to. Reservations is a good idea under Covid19 table distancing.

After reading rave reviews on our way home from Canmore decided to stop in here to eat. Not a good choice. Was very disappointing. Had to sit out on their back patio which was freezing and they did not have any heaters working. They had tables available inside which were “reserved” but when we left they still had tables available. Table was dirty and food crumbs on seat. Service was slow. Bathroom had no toilet paper. Had the poutine flight which was cold and fries seemed old. Had the burger of the month which also was not very good. Soup was cold as well. Will not be going back.

Amazing gem in central Alberta. Huge craft beer selection, really tasty food, sizeable portions and it's always been great service every time I've been. Can't go wrong here.

Their homemade soft pretzels with beer cheese dip is really good and would make a great late night or game day snack (may the games someday return). But, my favourite was the dill pickle poutine. Surprisingly, the dill pickle doesn't overwhelm and the dill pickle ranch dressing is a nice twist on top of an favourite Canadian dish.

Always an amazing time at Cilantro and Chive! Creative menu, something for everyone. Very kid friendly and delicious!!! Recommend getting a reservation if possible but if you don't, their staff is very friendly and accommodating and we can usually get a table even if it's busy. This place is a must to visit for any craft beer lover or if you are in Lacombe or passing through!

Best place to visit whenever we pass through

Have had the pleasure eating here a few times already. Been to Sunday brunch and dinner a few occasions. The food has always been absolutely excellent. An amazing craft beer and pop selection. The menu is top notch, many items feature local producers. The space it self is very comfy and casual. Service has always been excellent. One of the best places in Alberta.

Second visit to Cilantro and Chive, and I am very impressed with their food and service. Worth the 1hr some wait at the time for sure. Thank you C and C staff for your excellent service:)

We love Cilantro and Chive for many reasons! Their food is delicious and locally sourced. Their staff are kind and accommodating. They have a wicked selection of craft beer and spirits. Highly recommend if you've never been!

This place was absolutely amazing for food, it all came out quick, tasted amazing and had an awesome overall appearance inside, not to mention the massive selection of beer and Caesars they offer, if you like good food and good drinks check this place out

Cilantro & Chive is a must visit while in Lacombe!! Or it’s one of those restaurants you drive for. My husband and I live in Sylvan Lake and once every couple months we make a special trip. My husband would say the best part of cilantro and chive is their mass selection of craft beer! My favourite part is the unique atmosphere and menu they have created. Every time we visit the service and food is phenomenal. Make sure to book a reservation though because they fill up fast!!😊

went for lunch as a party of five with 3 being over 70. despite being half full we were sat at a picnic table which was very hard for us (especially the older ones) to get in and out of, not to mention, where do you put your coat with no chair back and no visible hangars anywhere?? The music was quite loud for a lunchtime which meant that the over 70's had quite a hard time hearing anything that was being said. As far as food goes it was good with imaginative ingredients. Burgers were dry but very flavorful. I might go back but I certainly would not bring our parents again or sit at that damn picnic table again.

great food, great service, not super long wait times (our reservation was for 5, we ate, got dessert to go & were out by 6). it’s a bit loud, but that’s just because it’s not a super large place & was fairly full. you NEED the pulled pork sandwich (with mac & cheese) in your life!! i never knew a sandwich could spark so much joy!! my mama gave the beef wellington a solid 9/10 & the desert trio was delicious. if i could give more stars, i would! you need to eat here !

These guys show care and standard of excellence that pervades each and every aspect of their business. Great food, great prices, down to earth staff. Food comes out great, quickly, and tasting fantastic. Highly recommend. Drove from Sherwood Park to experience this!

Everything. On. The. Menu. Is. Amazing. Had to really stress that sentiment. The service, the food, the ambiance... this place is the real deal. It is on my “must stop” list any time I’m heading between Calgary and Edmonton, and is often the sole destination of a road trip. Special shout out to the dill pickle poutine. No words to describe the level of bliss.

Awesome food, drinks and staff. Worth the drive from Calgary! The lavender lemonade is fantastic and there is a beer or two on the menu if that's more tour style. The best thing is they support local.

We ate on the patio, it was very busy on a nice Friday afternoon but they took our phone # and we shopped until we got the text that our table was ready. The food and service were excellent and we will definitely be back. We started with the Brome Lake braised duck wings in an Asian salt sauce and they were very tasty, more chewy than chicken wings but delicious. We also shared the peach and prosciutto chicken burger along with the mixed greens and enjoyed it very much, a little tricky to share it was piled so high but we both loved it. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Reservations recommended. Friendly staff and cozy space. I had the peach and prosciutto chicken burger with a side of poutine. My chicken was slightly overcooked, but the poutine was very tasty. Will have to come back to try their other dishes.

I've now been 3 times, well worth the drive from Edmonton. In all 3 visits we have had top notch food and service, it's one place on a very short list where we have no complaints of any kind. 10/10 would recommend.

Great place. Great food. Went during a busy time and service was slower; expected for how busy things were. Have a board game wall to grab from so time passed by quicker.Note make a reservation, you can be waiting awhile if you just drop in.

Update: This time took it in kid free and enjoyed and great evening. It happened to be national Caesar day so naturally had to have couple different version. The bacon and classic. Food was awesome! Beef Wellington so tender! Too stuffed for dessert so took it to go! Lacombe is has so great gems to check out and this is one of our favorites!Great food and atmosphere! Awesome beers and mixed drinks selections! Must go back without the kids next time!

First time back since covid and again no disappointment. Amazing food, awesome service and a great atmosphere. Thanks guys for being safe and keeping us safe too. Hand sanitizer on each table, cool booth dividers and sperated tables. Everything you did keeps the original look, welcoming and cozy. You and the team are amazing. Keep up the great work. 😉

August 13, 2019 almost a year to the day and have come again to stop at Cilantro and Chive in Lacombe, on our way to Calgary and this is a great halfway town to stop at where this great restaurant is. Great food. Last year I had the #ceasaerthateatslikeameal pulled pork with mac&cheese and it was tasty. It’s a little pricey but as a tourist thing it’s a great memory. This year we ate on the patio and enjoyed it. We had great service and the ambiance was great. We all enjoyed our meal. We came again because we enjoyed it last year and this time did not disappoint either. The restaurant is clean and as are the washrooms. I would easily recommend this restaurant for a great time and great food.

Delicious monthly special, and sell a great Moscow mule pitcher!

Love this little restaurant in the beautiful town of Lacombe. It's a small and cozy space. There's plenty of room, but reservations are recommended. The menu is imaginative, and no dish I've tried over multiple visits has been a miss. Their cocktails are just as creative and enjoyable! Definitely a worthwhile detour on your way south or north on Highway 2.

It’s always a great experience here - tonight especially the kitchen team was FIRE!!!! The two of of us ordered an appy and three entrees. Two desserts and a few drinks later our weekend was made. This place never disappoints! Jasmine was terrific and entertaining and put up with our craziness. Well done, Cilantro and Chive. Consistently great 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
